Q: How much will it cost?

A:The minimum initial cost for retail or specialty packaging is $4000. This price includes an expert consultation by a seasoned packaging expert who can help determine how to best design and manufacture your packaging at the lowest possible cost. Our team can also help your business understand which packaging solutions are the most environmentally sound, based on our commitment to the SFI, Sustainable Forestry Initiative. The $4000 minimum fee also includes a design and design specifications and a small quantity of boxes.

Q: How does Go Packaging address environmental concerns and the desire for ‘green’ packaging?

A: At Go Packaging we are focused on continuously improving the ways in which our processes and products interact with the environment. The majority of our boxes are made from materials supplied by SFI, the sustainable forestry initiative. SFI participants are committed to sustainable forestry and are required by SFI standards to encourage suppliers to practice it as well. In addition, Go Packaging team members have the expertise to consult with customers to determine how to optimize the use of packaging materials to reduce waste and maximize reuse and recycling. Once a design is complete, the boxes are made here at our on-site manufacturing facilities which are tuned to minimize use of natural resources.

Q: How does the process work?

A: First we will need to complete a structural design based on your requirements. If your needs are basic, the design fee is minimal. For more complex packaging, the cost of structural design could be $500-1,000. After the structural design is completed we'll provide an electronic die line (blueprint) of the box so you can lay out your artwork. If you need assistance with graphic design, we can assit you for a nominal fee. Once we receive the completed die line back from you with artwork, we will produce your boxes based on your timeframes. A color proof will be provided for your approval prior to running the job. In most cases it takes about 3-6 weeks from start to finish.

Q: What if I need less than 100 boxes?

A: Go Packaging can provide you with any quantity of boxes, faster than most other companies in the marketplace. We offer a full service staff to design and produce packaging to meet your exact needs. All customers are provided consultation, design services, speedy manufacturing and delivery. As a result our retail and specialty packaging fees start at $4000 for all order quantities. If these fees are out of budget for your project, it may be possible to select a stock box to meet your needs.

Q: What if I need inner support or a tray for my product?

A: We can assist you with the design and manufacture of custom trays, foam and other protective packaging. It's always best to send us exactly what you are going to package so that we can engineer the correct inner packaging solution. We will make sure you get the product(s) back after the design is complete.

Q: Do you offer plastic boxes or clear packaging?

A: We do offer clear plastic packaging but there are higher minimums with this substrate.
